Somehow the usual Youtube compression doesn't totally mangle the tonal richness here at it too often does.
Flautists are usually somewhat prosaic in their expressions, not this one !

At the top of my list of works I can't live without are Beethoven's late quartets.
Can't find my favourite recordings by the Fine Arts Quartet on the web anywhere.
I have the 50year old LPs and recent CD versions. The LP's are way superior in tonal richness and microdynamic contrasts on my system.
Anyhow, here's what a lot of even classical music lovers describe as 'difficult music' this time with the Berg quartet..
