A rather contentious point I feel Saab. James Hunt only won the championship because Niki Lauda was out for 6 weeks after his horrendous crash. I think Lauda was the real hero, even though he "chickened-out" of Japanese GP and Hunt got the three points he needed. What did hunt achieve after that? Lauda went onto to win the Championship the next year and another one a few years after that, but we won't dwell on that, since it was with another team.

Obviously you know I'm heavily biased towards Ferrari

Steve McQueen may well have ponced about on old bike,and admittedly looked pretty cool doing it,but he didn't slide a Bedford van full of budgies around roundabouts
