I was wondering where the isotrans has got too on its little journey around the country.

Its likely to be at one of the following persons

Wadia-miester Scidb Timpy Johnhunt Mo

I'm not hurrying things along just asking the question!!

Hi Zanash,

I had it for a week, but passed it back to Lilolee.

Unfortunately, I didnt really find any positive benefits with it. The top end was a smidge cleaner, but the timing and dynamics seemed to suffer a little.

Cheers, Robbo

Hi

I've not seen it yet. Is it lost in action? What was the pecking order?

SCIDB

Liolee brought it to the bake off at bottlenecks, He'd finished listening as I understood it, so he should have passed it on ...we wait and see !

'scuse me, but what's this about?

What's an isotrans? And if it's any good, can I have a go please?

There is a thread on the DIY that outlines the isotrans....

But to give a bit of back ground. It sit between CDP transport and DAC ....the theory being that there is reflection of the digital signal back down the line interfering with the data transfer.

The idea was to test in a variety of gear at many cost points.

If you can use an isotrans pm me and we can sort some thing !

As the unit is relatively cheap .....I can put together the package again and send it on to those who might be intrested. Obviously I'll need to find what happened to the last one first but as it was through the groovehandle things might have come unstuck.

Grrrr, remind me not to let you have your disc's back, damn I gave them to you.

No harm done, only lost a few minutes sleep over it.

From memory its wm next .....could you forward any completed Quetionairres to me, they are addressed somewhere.

Many thanks

Thread seems to have gone missing. Been on a recruiting drive and was looking to show some ppl who are into DIY the sort of thing going on over here. One lad on WHF? seemed interested to know where you got your silver wire from. The obvious advice was for him to register here and ask you :)

I have no idea. It was a sticky address label made by Zanash. I just sent it 1st class, but if it gets lost I did put my address on it as well, so it may come back.
