I was wondering of anyone knew a trick or two for finding audio equipment sold for cheap because it's broken. I'm looking to make a little money on the side fixing up electronics and audio stuff, but gumtree and other sites only seem to have working stuff. Thanks guys!

Electronics recycling has become quite a big business. I have made friends with people who work at a few of these facilities and they are always willing to sell me equipment that has been dropped off for recycle. It's amazing what people throw away. You may also try the auctions held at larger universities. These auctions are for equipement that is no longer used at the university, many times because it doesn't work for some easily fixed reason.
