Now the summer hols have decended upon us, what are you lot doing? any nice greataways planned?, 3 weeks in Kankoon?, long weekend in the Lake district, just chill out time at home.
WM is hoping for a couple of weeks In Perigord at the end of August, so what's you all doing?

Moving house, trying not to get sacked in new offce, and not going on holiday 'cos I need yet another new DVD player - although I'm half tempted to sell all my AV stuff and stick to stereo, and have a holiday...

After having done Brazil and Vietnam the last two years me and the missus decided to have a more chilled out holiday at home in Portugal.

Just driving up to the North and staying at a few guest houses on the way back down to finish off with a few days at the Pousada da Nossa Senhora de Assunção (roughly translated: guest house of Our Lady of the Assumption - well it's an old monastery that's why the very catholic name).

It's a really nice place and the only "hotel" in Portugal to make it into the very first "Hip Hotels" book

Middle two weeks of August - looking forward to it.

Dubai for xmas for 8 days (wohoo!)

We were looking towards Cape Town, but that seems to be getting pushed back. I think a 'late deal' type holiday will fill the gap. May well be joining you in Portugal Michael! Set a limit of £300pp for wherever we go as we're *meant* to be saving for several things, including the Cape Town trip.

More hi-fi upgrades or a holiday, hmm not difficult, got be the holiday I think. Lots of will power needed though, as I'm sure WM will be introducing me to far too many tempting tweaks and upgrades between now and the end of the year. :cry:

No summer hols for me, but another winter holiday. Hopefully, going to Hong Kong and possibly Australia too (got a free return plane ticket from Virgin to use up :banana: )

The only problem at the mO is trying to negotiate some time off work. Would like to take 16 days off in December, giving me 1 whole month including all the bank holidays and weekends, but d'management is currently cogertating over this one. Hmm, so they give us 20 days holiday here, I've got 18.5 days left, but if you decide to take more than one week off in a row you'll have to sing for it. :argue: :inferno:

not sure if we'll get a holiday this year, too much happening,wot with the gf moveing back to the states ,helping a mate set up a lighting and sound hire company in greece (im the uk office/technical department), o and the annual 4 weeks maintence at work starts next week (a month of 9-5,pat testing and cleaning )
still this time next week i'll be in amsterdam for the day :MILD:
