Well, the lovely Rose West said during the trial and while on oath that she didn't hear or notice a thing about Freds' shenanigans in the back room and I always believe the word of a Lady ;)

I'm sure she was kind enough to make tea and biscuits :D .

On the speakers:

"Pictures do not do them justice. They are beautiful to behold."

I guess it really does lie in the eye of the beholder. He probably also has a crush on Godzilla.

Am I the only one thinking that it's a lot of kit (or mess if you prefer :D ) for $11k ( £6-7k)?

i thought it was teh sound that matters, if not then that load of stuff looks like a heap of *&#£. but i'm sure it sounds good, btw does the wife know the differance between heaps of *&#£ and expencive hifi kit.

it looks like a lot of fun to me. If I had the room and the money to fritter I'd give it a shot. Big if obviously. You'd have to fly the guy the guy over to commission it !

I'm sure it sounds great and the guy is obviously a very keen DIY'er. From a purely aesthetic point of view it looks to me like he got a whole load of electrical and electronic components, but them in a box and threw in a grenade, this is where everything landed after it went off.

although no doubt fantastic sounding it looks like my late grandads shed full of junk.

He liked tinkering as well

ok everyone moans at the naimees for claiming break in periods last for over a month...

but look what this guy says about them push pull monoblocs hes thowing in..

"Another fact is that it takes output transformers 20 years plus to break in. These are at their peak of perfection!"

LOL

So, he is a chap with 300B SET amps, and horn speakers with 15" bass cabs.

It is NOT me. Honest.

Shame he didnt take a bit more care over the appearance, but I bet it sounds great. A lot of people would get a shock if they heard it I'd warrant :)
