WTB - half-width cd player for circa £175...

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a small, cheap, half-width cd player for my bedroom system. Everything needs to fit on top of my chest of drawers and not look too obtrusive.

I'm thinking either the Sony XA3000ES (bit big maybe), Cyrus DAD3, Teac PDH-300 or Denon DCD-F102.

If there's something modern available from Denon/Yamaha etc. I'll consider it too. This isn't an excersize in audiophilia, just need something to bang out the chunes and wake me up early in the morning.

I ONLY want a cd player. Not interested if it has preamp/amp/radio functionality too.

Blimey, that was quick; I went down TCR at lunch and got myself an ex-dem Teac PDH-300 MkII for £85. Here's hoping the laser lasts more than three months...
