I have narrowed down my search for a RB CD playing system to one of the following;
A used Teac (Esoteric) P-30 Transport (this has been well worked with a Trichord 4 clock and 2 never connected power supplies, all work performed by a trusted technician. The P-30 would be combined with either an Audio Note DAC 3 or a Belcanto DAC 3.
Alternatively, a Musical Fidelity kW DM 25 Transport & DAC.
Problem is that I can audition the Musical Fidelity kW DM 25 Transport & DAC at a local dealer, however the P-30 with either Audio Note or Belcanto would be from different dealers that are not in the same location.
If I am honest the P-30 / DAC combination is being considered on their reputations.
Any comments or suggestions?
