Yep. MOst of it,that i've seen, looks like it's filmed in and around Nerwort too. There's a bit on a "death slide" which was filmed a few min's walk from my old house.

However let's not get any false impressions here!

He he he - Newport sounds safe as f*** alright!

NOoOoOOoOoOoOooo!!!!

A few average shops, a few ok pubs, the two main "clubs" are just places to get pissed up before looking for a fight after. Then of course there's "The Legendary TJs". I believe John Peel gave it the legendary tag. It's where Kurt supposedly proposed to Courtney. Used to be a good mix of people and music. Now it's dominated by underage kids and shite music. Topped off with the required inch of piss on the floor.

There's a nice MOving clock thing though :D

For real? Blimey - I'd never have thought he'd proposed in the UK -woah - you learn something new every day...

That's what "they" say. It has played host to some bands that have gone on to big things. well *bigger*.

Therapy used to play there quite often. I seen them  many years back playing the newport center. At the end of the gig they invited everyone back to TJs for a drink..... I didn't go :D

Did you (or anyone  ) listen to any of the GLC tracks? I had a taxi driver singing the taxi one to me the other night. Quite amusing :D
