So, what do you reckon to the new layout and colour scheme, then? :)

I'd like to think it's an improvement, and I'd hope you'll agree, but please let me know your thoughts, be they positive or otherwise!

Let me know if you spot anything amiss or have any problems!

Very slick...easier to navigate as you can see more stuff on one page.

Very good :) Hopefully it will attract some new topics. I'd like to post some myself, but I struggle to thing of anything new to talk about regards Hi-Fi!

Doesn't need to be new or about HiFi.

    .........er, did it need redesigning??

Cetainly doesn't float my boat but there you go. (less easy to read+not so nice to look at)

Like I say, what was wrong with the old design?

I like it, the old design was just stuck in vbulletin circa 2004 this looks a lot fresher. Did you design it all yourself or does it use a pre made skin?

Hell the hell can a forum look "fresh"?

Its not a piece of fruit.

It can look fresh, the designer is cleaner and looks new. Rather like you can freshen a room by painting it.

i like it - like any change in software / UI it'll take a little time to get used to.

Hopefully it'll grow on you, David, it's intended to be a bit less cluttered and easier to use...

Reskinned myself from the default vB3 skin - the vB3 layout is a fairly outdated affair, so it's a bit of a pain to get it looking as clean as the more recent versions, but hopefully it's done the job!

Looks like they're discussing new forum software, rather than just the redesign - will be quite a change for them!

I've been meaning to tidy ZG up for ages, but it seemed to keep getting bumped down the to-do list!

I think you should have a picture or logo to the right of the main zerogain text - maybe like we did for the very first zerogain change? Ppl posting ideas themselves, maybe even a voting system for the top3?

    Just a thought.

As an old timer, I miss the previous version, which I thought was about perfect. But I understand the need for novelty.

But please, make the text of messages black again.
