It strikes me that the music room here is a fair bit differnt to that on Pink Fish so I'd be interested so hear what you people like listening to.

I'd like to form a playlist of recent music from no earlier than 2005. Why only recent music? I think if stuff from before then is allowed people will just start adding all the old classics and we all know those already. I want to hear new stuff!

(For those of you who have not heard of Spotify, it is a free program that gives access to a huge amount of music, and we can all join in and build up a playlist. It even has a cute girl on the main page! www.spotify.co.uk)

Anything in particular?

(Though I doubt my listening will be of any particular interest!)

Edit: Adding a few - any way of seeing who added what?

Can we try to keep things mixed up a bit. 14 heavy rock/metal tracks in a row is far too much for my poor mind to take!!! Whoever put those on can you pick just half of them please. :)

Up to 79 tracks now - looks to be doing well :)

Particularly liking Hayashi and Firefox AK!

(Whoever added QOTSA/No One Knows - I'm sure Songs for the Deaf was a fair bit earlier than 2005, but I won't tell if you won't!)

Edit: Just worked out why Skin's voice sounds so familiar! Will have to give Fleshwounds a looksie.

yes, it's a great new thread.

Well done Simon.

I only like about 10%, but it's interesting to hear new stuff and a great thing :)

Hope people get equally into the ''live performance thread'' - it's a shame to see people haven't put much up there yet.

Are we all sado's sitting at home every night?!?!

I've seen the Barron Knights live... and two Queen tribute acts. Living it large, baby!

Couple of Stephen Marley tracks added.

He sounds very much like his Father - both of these tracks could have been part of his Father's 'Uprising' album of the early 80s.
