SMEagol, My first table was an older Mission 775SM table with Alphason HR100S arm. On this I had a Stanton 881S cartridge (middling). I was lucky enough to have a great phono stage, and that table sounded excellent. Like a daft bugger I sold it. My current setup is great, but I still wish I'd kept the Mission table. The Transcriptors look beautiful, but I've never heard one.
