I find the shops up here really crap, Lintone at Gateshead is the best (of a bad bunch tho) - no demo room, and not a great deal of choice although the guys there are ok, the others (Global/Lintone at the Metrocentre/Sevenoaks) just seem to me to be reallly patronising, and I would rather drive to Yorkshire than buy anything from them. Newcastle HIFI in Kenton seems ok, but just NO choice, its Linn or nothing.

All IMHO of course ;)
