I'm currently enjoying myself some Bacardi Mojitos mixed with 7-Up. It currently just tastes like 7-Up to me even though It's mostly Bacardi.

I also enjoy pretty well Bacardi White Rum mixed with anything. I love Rum. The coolers are alright too.
Mudslides are not bad but kinda too sweet.

And I tried Bud Lime for the first time today, it is probably the only beer I enjoy.

What could you guys drink and never get tired of?

I like a Southern Comfort or a good port; for a longer drink, most real ales will do nicely!

    My house!
Good Absinthe for when I am feeling poetic.

Good Malt for when I'm in a listening mood.

    Mojito for the ladies

Caprinha made with Sagatiba Cachaca for when I should know better but fancy wearing a dress!

Hendricks gin and tonic for when I'm feeling pretentious and have run out of Gordons.

Victoria Plum Liquor made by a local lady for when I need to disable my mates and get them out of the house.

    Rioja - tea substitute.

Any decent real ale for me,especially if its from a micro brewery and dark.Dont do green king if i can avoid it due to there habit of buying out smaller brewers, shutting them down, then forcing there beers on to the tied houses.Recently got back into home brewing ,just finished the last of a very nice stout from a wilkinsons kit. Next brew will be all grain, thinking of a porter, once the stainless steel plate arrives for the mash tun.

I don't get it around here (Shropshire)

Greene King I think is a Suffolk or East Anglian thing (at least it suddenly pops up if we do the broads). I assumed again directors is localised. I recall having it once in Newbury many years ago.

For those in london looking for a decent pint hop on the tube to old street and find your way to wenlock arms N1 7TA,a cranking pub with several real ales all in great condition, and the salt beef sarnies are rather good too, then once youve had your fill walk/stagger to Britton Street EC1M 5UQ to the jeruselem tavern (not open weekends ) to sample some of the rather nice st peters brewery offerings.

Greene king were traddionaly a suffolk brewery, based in bury st edmunds. Directors is now brewed by wells and young in bedford after buying it from scottish and newcastle.

I have found Directors to be somewhat varieable and tend to choose something else. The best pub where they could reliably keep it is now an estate agents! Used to work in BSE where the brewery was in the heart of the town. The smells were amazing! I regularly drive past the Wells site at Bedford on my way to the M1. I used to brew my own beer when I was younger but gave it up when we moved to a house without an airing cupboard.

Lots of real ale variety, but don't drink all that much 'cos it turns my arse into a trumpet .

Always been a fan of Badger Brewery offerings; used to live in Blandford where they're based. Tanglefoot and Blandford Fly are my fav's of their brews. Uley brewery stuff when I was growing up nr Stroud, Old Spot and Pig's Ear, yummy.

Now in Zummerzet, I like the occasional drop of scrumpy/farmhouse cider. Anyone here tried Cheddar Valley cider? Looks radioactive and has the ability to make you lose entire evenings :D.

Sad to say I now mostly drink lager and cheap wine at home cos don't go to the pub much anymore.

P.S. Can't believe you're a fan of Banks beer Nando, when I was a student at Staffs Uni I used to have a theory that they used to scoop it straight out of the canal, ha ha.

Used to drink Bank's mild at college (Pershore) and the odd (cloudy) pint of cider in Elmley Castle. Had Timothy Taylor Landlord today and a rather nice Shiraz (it is my birthday!) heading home now for a Hobgoblin!

Not sure what it was,but the riflemens arms in glastonbury used to sell some rough scrumpy that had similar effects. Also your in the cheddar ales region, there porter is rather nice.
