For BMW lovers everywhere

I must be somewhat unique on this forum as someone who does not own a BMW, but actually LIKES them!

I was the same for over 20 years Paul, but I like German and Italian cars in general for different reasons, depending on whether my brain or heart is in charge, as the saying goes.

...they offer practical reliable performance, are great fun to drive and are anything but flashy.

Which is why I was considering getting one.

Owning such a "nice car" would also give me an excuse not to help people move for the umpteenth time
