The thing that I liked about the Argentine v Mexico game was that Mexico despite suffering from a bad referee decision played well, albeit they were up against a better side. England just did not play as a team.

I think ur right ways things are going seems like the Fifa exects may have been placing a few substantial bets somewhere and maybe theyre hoping their no bias coincidential judgement will pay off!? Humm!

It must be hard for the couches and playing staff to understand what the manager says and exactly what he wants them to do. But after all its down to the players and they were not up for it. I think it was all a plan so they could get a holiday in with their wags before training starts. Feel sorry for all the fans who spent all that money.

Players are paid way to much and think they are entitled to it. They are a load of cheats in my opinion and i hope the FA get the mess sorted and the players.

Yeah real shame Ghana have gone out, if it weren't for Suarez's handball they would have had a deserved victory. Some crap penalties though.

Gyan had some guts being the 1st to take mind.

How does one live down missing a penalty in the 29th minutes of extra time? Poor sod.

Well I reckon being the first one to step forward when it went to penalties goes quite a long way towards it, imo. Also he was probably one of Ghana's best players in that match and seemed to have amazing energy levels as he never stopped running!

What a bizarre second half! And on at least 3 occasions, what a pillock the referee was.

I can't see you getting past the Germans Nando.

Germany were great against Argentina, much better than I had expected.

Missed the Spain game as I was enjoying a beach bbq down in sunny Dorset, watching 100-odd middle-aged fishermen failing to catch anything bar seaweed off the beach. Hugh Fearnly-Whittinstall has a lot to answer for :D.
