Flat earther?

No one has a problem other than some of the forum objectivists. The rest of us aren't obsessed requiring proof for every breath we take or sound we hear. We enjoy what's heard and get on with life.

Because proof is not required for those things, but if someone wants me to pay many thousands of pounds for something as simple as a pre-amp, I want to see some convincing evidence to justify that price.

Because it was relevant to the discussion at the time (vibration influencing line-level circuits)

Despite it just being hearsay?

If that makes you happy, I'm happy.

I'm not an electronics expert. Personally, I base my decision on:

1. do I prefer the sound over the piece it will replace?
2. does it offer the features I need?
3. does it come from a reputable manufacturer?
4. is the manufacturer likely to be in business when it breaks x number of years from now?
5. will I have to ship it across the Atlantic to get it repaired?
6. is the asking price in line with what its value is to me?

You're trolling and I need the typing practice to break in a new keyboard so... yes, it seemed plausable since no other change was made. Shifting wires made no change, the volume and balance wasn't changed, only the gear was removed from the racks-some of racks were wood-some were metal, forget Faraday. Every time, every system, every environment and heard by all present with everyone commenting. It's also been reported by folks independently from other sessions at other venues that I never attended.

What would you conclude if you could put your stethoscope down long enough to just listen and compare? I'm open to alternative ideas other than the usual cop-out of "it's your imagination", etc.

No, not trolling, I'm just disagreeing with you.
