Happy birthday Zerogain

Thanks again guys :) . Been delayed on the vb 3.0.1 upgrade but as soon as I've got that out the way I think I'll launch a logo competition. I'd like to keep the black/grey/orange colour scheme though so bear that in mind if you're going to have a go. Please don't post any (more) logo suggestions on this thread - lets wait for the proper thread which I'll start as soon as I'm ready :)

btw, the reason for keeping the colour scheme is (amongst other things) because editing the forum styles and buttons to fit a new scheme is a right PITA (and the main reason I haven't upgraded to vb3.0.1 yet).

I've just had a quick play with 'Crystal Button' (www.crystalbutton.com) and it looks pretty simple and quick to make some decent buttons. The examples are all a bit flashy for my taste, but it can do some classy minimal ones with very little effort ââ'¬â€œ I plan to make a full set prior to taking pfm to v3. I still can't quite grasp why vBulletin themselves don't offer alternatives as the stock ones are truly puke inducing, too big and incredibly badly done. I'm going to loose the icon / picture aspect of the buttons completely and just go with a very minimal text based look.

Fortunately, someone on www.vbulletintemplates.com has gone to the effort of creating a vb3 style (with buttons) that makes it look just like vb2 - with allowances for the new features of vb3 of course.

I'm going to use it with my existing vb2 buttons so it should be pretty straightforward.
