One - I never said I was an expert, and all opinions are my own -that doesn't make them fact.
If you come out with bold statements on things then people may think you are some sort of expert. Put them on a forum and people who disagree will challenge them.

Two - anyone CAN play that stupid game - whether you're any good or not is irrelevant.
Wrong, it is relevent whether you are good or not. That is one of the points I have been making. That is why people like Beckham earn big money. But it only a few who earn Beckham size money.
In this country top players are earning over £100,000 a week. That's over £5.2 million a year. I understand that the average wage in the priemiership is £20,000 a week.
If you look at the lower divisions there players who earn less than £20000 a year.
If skill was not important, I would've been a footballer.

Exactly - where are they now - "would you like fries with that, sir?" - or then there's Kim Wilde with her landscape gardening (WTF is that all about?).
At the end of the day, Victoria Beckham was made her money in the spice girls. She made that much money that she has a place in the richest persons in the UK list. She doesn't really need to do anything. But being married to David Beckham also helps.
Kim Wilde made a her fame and money in the 80s as we all know. That was 20 years ago. Music biz changes so she won't be latest thing. She has always had an interest in gardening. With the money she has made from her career, she has moved into the world of gardening. What's wrong with that. She still does the odd gig every now and then.
Some ex stars go back into normal life, some go into a slippery slope, some go onto equal or bigger things, some live off their pop star earnings and investments and some carry on performing.

Neither do I as it happens

I even owned the Spice World movie for a few weeks (got it second hand) as I was curious
I think I have a copy of this somewhere, might try a dig it out and have a look at it.

As I say, I never said I was an expert on football. However, seeing someone do what I consider to be something fairly simple and being paid ridiculous amounts for it when a doctor has to work a 70 hour week and get less in a year than Beckham gets in a match makes me physically sick to be honest.
Well you better start walking round with lots of sick bags then. A lot of people earn big money. That's life. If you want more money, you need to do something about it. For example, if binmen wants more money, they can
1) ask their bosses for a pay rise,
2) Take industrial action for better pay,
3) Or find a better paid job.
It boils down to how people in the money view their employees. How much do they think they are worth and how little they can pay them.
