May I just note that I find it a bit of strange that The Devil's thread was locked for ordinary people while two of the mods felt moved to add their comments.

Well, I would also add that a few tangential posts in the thread which ultimately got James' back up (unecessarily in my opinion) could have been deleted and the otherwise perfectly affable "We Love Tony" thread could have been left open.
If James wishes to post his intention to leave, he is by definition opening the subject up for discussion.
Moderating this forum may be tricky at times, but that sort of goes with the territory IMO.

Moderating is a thankless task. Frankly my heart sinks when I get home from work and see a number of "reported post on Zerogain" emails in my inbox.

I've no problems with that.........thats moderators are for, loking after the forum. Though the sudden loss of bub ...does ring a little odd. He had not to my knowledge posted a positive post for a long time, all the recent ones being of the dissing type or the fall back 15th level manner thing. As far as I can see if you live by the sword your likely to die by the sword. All those comment made by him ........
Its fairly typical of a certain charactor type, We had a bloke at work [fire service] that was for ever playing practical jokes.....A night a punctures condom filled with water, strung over someones bed.......It didn't matter that all there gear got soaked. Just a big joke to the chap.....along with other things like I found my push bike at the top of the drill tower after an hours searching [everyone had gone home at the end of the shift]. The point being that when a group of us placed his car side ways in a garage, using a trolly jack..then placed all the stuff back in front of it to hide the car. He did not take it as a joke and tried to get everyone placed on a charge.....which didn't work asstation commander was also a victim of his wit.
The point being is don't dish out what you can take.....or do unto others as you would have done unto you !

Can we please stop discussing Bub, as Isaac has pointed out if he isn't here to defend himself it isn't appropriate. Departed members should be treated in the same manner as banned members.
