Bram Beekman BWV 552 fugue - Excellent. It's too bad that the recordings from his complete Bach set don't seem to be available for purchase, for the most part. Someone is, however, in the process of kindly putting his complete set on youtube. The BWV 552 fugue is on volume V.

De profundis clamavi a 4 - formerly attributed to Josquin des Prez/now attributed to Nicolas Champion, sung by the Hilliard Ensemble

Stabat Mater Dolorosa - Josquin des Prez - performed by La Chapelle Royale, Philippe Herreweghe

BWV 552 - Ewald Kooiman on Coronata - great version

Josquin Desprez - Stabat mater, dolorosa - ALAMIRE directed by David Skinner

Josquin Desprez - Stabat mater - Capilla Flamenca, Dirk Snellings

I prefer the approach in these recordings to the Herreweghe recording.

Thanks for this interesting link. I have become even more interested in Rübsam lately because he (in case you do not know) on his home page has published (as well as for listening as for download) his recordings of the WTC and AoF played on lute-harpsichord along with his Buxtehude organ set from the 1980es and several other interesting things (Böhm, Pachelbel).

Nice to hear from you, premont. Excuse my belated reply. I'm glad the Rübsam link was of interest.

I haven't heard his recordings that you mention. Thanks for calling them to my attention. Looks interesting and I hope to listen to some of them soon.

John Tavener: Lament for Jerusalem. At times I find it as repetitious as Glass, other times it reduces me to tears.

An admireable performance as far as I can tell via the MP3(?) compression used by Youtube or maybe far too close microphone positioning. The human voice should never sound so aggressively sharp.
