Glorious interpretation of Sweelinck's Hexachord fantasia by Tomasz Gluchowski on youtube. I inserted a link to it but for some reason it wasn't working. The video uses the spelling Heksachord.

I just wanted to edit this post a bit. I see that I channeled a youtube commenter's words a little too much in what I wrote. Instead, I'll just say that I thought the piece as played by Tomasz Gluchowski was magnificent.

youtube Festival Organistico Internazionale Wolfgang Rubsam plays Johann Sebastian Bach

Rübsam live in concert in 2015. I enjoyed seeing and listening to him play the BWV 552 fugue (starts at the 24:09 mark)

BWV 671 is another one of the pieces that he plays, although I haven't listened to it.

Thanks for posting this interesting link.
It is worth noting, that Rübsam has somewhat moderated the sometimes overdone agogics, which were a striking part of his Naxos Bach integral.
And it is nice to see, that he is still going strong.

New to this forum I'm puzzled that posts don't appear to be listed in chronological order.
Is it necessary to change forum settings for posts to appear in the order they were posted?
    Am I missing something?
Also in attempting to fill out my profile on this site I'm prevented from doing so by the software insisting I list a homepage. I do not have a homepage and have no intention of creating one.
    What gives?

Leo van Doeselaar - BWV 538 fugue from Bach in Context Vol. 2 Bach and Luther - I think the playing is excellent. The tempo is very good and nothing unnecessary is added. The organ is by Gottfried Silbermann (St. Georgenkirche in Glauchau)

Kim Heindel - BWV 1006a prelude on lute-harpsichord

Palestrina Missa Brevis - Benedictus, Agnus Dei sung by Pro Cantione Antiqua - I think this is the recording I'm going to get to have a bit of Palestrina rather than the Tallis Scholars.
