I don't like some of Graindelavoix's ornamentation/improvisation in this performance. It just sounds, at least to me, a little bit out of place in this type of music. Still, I do enjoy the performance.
 
Bach's Chaconne - Christoph Poppen + The Hilliard Ensemble from the cd Morimur

I hadn't previously heard the Chaconne done in this way. The combination with the singing sounds pretty incredible.

Excellent. I like the lack of ego in his playing. The organ he plays (by Arp Schnitger at the Martinikerk in Groningen, Netherlands) has the needed gravity.

Amadeus Webersinke BWV 552 - While I thought his playing on BWV 686 sounded too romantic, his BWV 552 seems to be outstanding, straight playing.
