Your Favourite Ales/bitters

A mate of mine used to say, "There's only two kinds of beer - beer you like, and beer you haven't had yet". :D

For me it has to be Theakston's 'Old Peculiar' at the Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge, North Yorkshire Moors National Park. At this very moment the place is inaccessible due to snow.

i still love my ESB, my fullers local was doing a mini barrel with tap "18 pints" for £35.00, got two here now. :)

Fullers ESB... bloody gorgeous stuff and still, if memory serves me correct, brewed in Chiswick...???
Yep, me too.

Stayed in a 12 room walkup hotel over a Fuller's house in Little Mayfair for a couple of weeks back in the day. Consumed large quanities of ESB to my great pleasure.

oh well, off soon to have pie and mash and ESB in the pub next to chiswick brewery, i will toast to all of you who love this bitter,:)

I refilled my chilled stella into a half full cup of cold tea last night.

I can comfirm this combo DOESN'T work.

cold tea?

i think that if it was hot it could make a very dodgy hot toddy, mind you i still have a few pints left of ESB although my hi-fi is telling me to have another pint. :)

I can't believe I missed this thread !!

I have a 'Pico Brewery' in one of my outbuildings. I brew clones of all my favourites;
Timothy Taylor's Landlord, Brakspears Special, Fuller's London Pride, Hall & Woodhouse's Tanglefoot and Cooper's Sparkling Ale, as well as lagers and other styles.

I brew three times a month (on average) in the winter (approx 7 hours per 45 pint brew) then slow down to once a month in the summer (too much drinking to be done). Some are kegged but most are bottled.

I still find that I have to go to the pub for research (of course) and I am lucky enough to have some great boozers a short distance from my place.

Beer mmmmmmmmmm

Just living a short journey from my Favourite Bradford Pub which is called the Corn Dolly on Bolton Road, which I will be in tonight, they turn around a lot of brews.
My favourite currently is the stuff from Ossett Brewery : -
