That used to be an old haunt of mine when I was living in Fulham. Of course being a foreignor, I always looked for the most quaint establishments.

Just avoid it Boat Race day.

Yes, I have to agree. I Hold no truck with 'unnatural' flavours in beer. Beer is beer. If you want a 'fruit based cocktail' then buy something else. Added honey is something that many brewers have experimented with. It has had limited success.

The only beer that has additional flavours that work, are Belgian Lambics (Framboise). These have had hundreds of years to perfect. Still, not to my taste. But hey ho !!

    Hmmmm. Sounds good.
I have just cracked a bottle of my olde style IPA made using a Fullers yeast. It has all the hallmarks of a stronger, more bitter ESB. Perfect for the roasted pork shoulder just out of the oven.

I have a serious 'soft spot' for Fuller's ales. Their beers were always produced exceptionally. I have made a few Pride 'clones' with varying success.
I also worked for them as a Pub Manager, years ago and was treated very well.

I may well have thrown you out :D

It's been modernised since we were there. It now has all the atmosphere of a 'Vodka Bar'. Shame, because it was one of Richmond's hidden treasures.
